EVERY Wednesday at 8pm, the Greig Centre comes alive with rhythm and colour as a dance craze prepares to sweep through the town.

Ceroc is a modern jive, tinted with a pinch of salsa and disco.

It started in the UK in the 80s, having been adapted from French/American jive.

No special clothes are required, people just need something comfortable to dance in.

People also do not need to bring their own partners as they will be able to meet and dance with new people in a safe, friendly environment.

The class is open to adults from 18-60 and the sessions last until 10.45pm. The premises are also licensed.

People who mention reading about the dance event in the Alcester Chronicle to session organisers will be entitled to a first visit concession of only £2 and free life membership.
