CHAINWIRE held up Cutnall Green's Saturday League Division Five promotion charge by claiming a losing draw.
Green are still only nine points away from leaders Cape Hill Victoria in fourth place though.
But they could not dismiss second-from-bottom Chainwire who proved resilient at the weekend by ending up on 162-8.
Green had earlier hit an impressive 255-6 with Neil Evans (72 not out) and big-scoring Neil Fletcher (61) the main inspirations.
Despite D Falkener's 4-43, Kidderminster side Chainwire managed to come away with six points.
Cutnall Green 255-6, Chainwire 162-8.
Rock-bottom Bridewell have now lost all their nine league games after a home defeat to promotion-chasing Worcester Corinthians.
The city side lost only four wickets in pursuing Bridewell's 125 all out.
Bridewell 125,
Worcester Corinthians 126-4.
