PETER Wilson drove to Kidderminster police station to complain about an assault and was arrested when police smelled alcohol and breath-tested him.
Wilson, 43, of Elm Place, Cookley, was banned from driving for a year and fined £67, with £55 costs, after admitting driving with a breath alcohol reading of 57, against the limit of 35.
He told magistrates he had drunk two cans of strong cider and had not intended to drive before he was assaulted in his home.
