POLICE have arrested a fifth man in connection with the disappearance of computer equipment worth £250,000 and the abduction of a lorry driver.
The man was arrested in Olerton Lane, Telford, at about 4.20pm on Wednesday on suspicion of armed robbery, but has not yet been charged.
The man's arrest follows the appearance of four men at Worcester Magistrates Court on Monday.
Terry Cutler, 32, from Telford, Andrew Currie, 36, from Rugby, Simon Johnson, 20, from Telford and Aaron Johnson, 19, also from Telford, were all charged with conspiracy to kidnap and conspiracy to commit robbery.
They were remanded in custody and are due to appear before Worcester Crown Court on July 9.
A lorry driver was abducted on Friday, June 21, after he had picked up the consignment of computers from Evesham Technology Limited. He was then driven to Wiltshire, where he was released.
