WORCESTER Rowing Club's fantastic four take on Upper Thames tomorrow hoping to turn around the county's fortune at Henley Royal Regatta.

Chris Chilton, Chris Farr, Jeremy Richardson and Peter Crozier lifted the Wyfold Cup two years ago and they go in the Prince Philip Cup tomorrow.

Henley has proved tough for crews from the two counties so far, however. Royal Grammar School, Worcester, lost by half a length to Middlesex School from the USA while King's were defeated by their Chester namesakes by one-and-a-quarter lengths in The Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup.

Worcester RC's younger crew of Ross Barnes, Jon Page, Phil Whitely and Gareth Hooper lost by a length to North County Rowing Club, USA, in the Wyfold, while Hereford RC went down by a length to Ireland's Lady Elizabeth Boat Club in the same event.
