A SPARKLING all-round display from Adil Mohammed has earned him our Evening News/Duncan Fearnley Cricket Sales Ltd. Cricketer of the Week award.
He took 4-45 with the ball and then hit a superb 145no with the bat to steer Worcester-based Dominies and Guild to a seven-wicket win at Harborne in the Worcestershire County League Division Four.
The fast-medium bowler bowled 15 overs as the home side totalled 259-8.
His display impressed Dominies captain Glyn Wilks, who said: "It was a very good batting track and everyone else was getting hammered around, so he did well to get those figures.
But Adil really cut loose when Dominies came to bat, striking nine sixes and 13 fours as Dominies raced to their target in just 32 overs.
Wilks, who supported him with an unbeaten 82, added: "He is quite an attacking batsman and he said before the game that he was going to get some runs, and that was certainly the case."
Adil's all-round heroics have kept Dominies in with a shout of the title. Wilks said: "We are second at the moment so we need to keep winning."
Adil, who in his first season with Dominies, wins a £40 voucher to be spent at Duncan Fearnley Cricket Sales Ltd. at Unit 10 Sherriff Street, Worcester.
