FOSSILS' evergreen opener John Shepherd hit an unbeaten 100 to take his side to their fourth win of the season against the Law Society.
The 65-year-old's effort allowed Fossils to finish on 200-3 before getting stuck into the Law Society's reply.
John Alexander (25) and Karl Davies (22) crashed 49 for the Lawmen's first wicket before Gerald Wadley hit 40.
However, excellent bowling by spinners Martin Woodward 4-18, Shepherd, Ted Bradshaw and Bill Jones kept nagging away until the lawmen were all out for 161.
Fossils also claimed a double success with an eight-wicket win over Tibberton.
Martin Mudway claimed 4-36 as Tibberton were skittled for 154 with Dean Kloos top scoring with 34.
Shepherd (29) and Dave Smith put on 58 before the veteran opener departed.
Adam Uren then hit 49 from 25 balls and Smith's unbeaten 35 kept Fossils on the victory trail.
Brian Berry shot a quick-fire 11 to finish the game in style.
