DEAF or hard of hearing toddlers at a Kidderminster nursery will be well catered for after five staff members started learning sign language.
The eight-week course which is run by Worcestershire County Council finishes this week.
Holy Trinity School Nursery currently has no-one with hearing difficulties but staff will practise their new-found skills with a child who has a deaf relative.
Nursery supervisor Laura Parkes said: "We thought the course would be interesting and we can see it being a real asset to the whole nursery."
