STRATFORD Racecourse is gearing up for the fourth Family Raceday on Sunday July 14.
Following the phenomenal success of the annual even, which last year saw a post-war attendance record for Stratford Racecourse of over 9,000, a similar bumper crowd is anticipated.
The raceday will again be sponsored by the Coventry Evening Telegraph and will provide something for all the family.
More free family entertainment and attractions once again remain the centrepiece of the day that will see gates opening at 10.30am.
Skydivers, Sheep Dog and Falconry displays. Terrier racing and the Grand National Simulator, as well as a funfair and rides for children will be available in the centre course area.
The newspaper sponsors will also be offering giveaways from their Roadshow for those racegoers arriving early, with the first of six races kicking off at 2.10pm.
For football fans there will be the Coventry Evening Telegraph Penalty Shoot-out, a competition allowing racegoers to take a shot against their heroes from the Football in the Community team at High Field Road which will take place in the Paddock between noon and 1pm.
Admission prices are Club £15, Tattersalls £11 and Course £5. There's free admission for accompanied children under 16.
