MALVERN CRICKET CLUB U14s v WORCESTER U14s
Poole batted with confidence and when Dovey was out for 23 Hall helped move the score until Poole was finally out for a well crafted 54 which included seven fours and two sixes. Hall finished on 22 and Tandy 10, leaving the visitors to chase 161 off their 20 over.
The Malvern bowling attack proved too strong for the Worcester batting only Rimell (24) got into double figures. Dovey (3-5), Cunneen (1-10), Knight (3-18), Hughes (1-7) and Bayliss (1-0) all bowled accurately and with some tight fielding Malvern won by 118 runs.

BARNARDS GREEN U13s 76, MALVERN U13s 77-3
THE Green made a poor start to this 20 over derby game, Richard Tuck being run out for 7 and Chris Bowen and Calum Campbell both bowled by Sean Jenkins.
However they recovered well with Liam Paddock (18no) in partnership with Philip Harris (11) and Ben Marks (11no).
Malvern made a steady start in reply with Lewis Hooper and Max White hitting glorious boundaries before falling to the hostile Harris. It was left to the safe Sean Jenkins (26no) and the adventurous Steve Pool (31no) to take Malvern to a convincing seven wicket victory.
MALVERN U11s v
COLWALL U11s
COLWALL U11s gained an impressive victory away to Malvern winning by 48 runs.
Colwall, bowling first, got away to a flying start with a wicket by Stephen Coffey, second ball of the match. Malvern then battled slowly, finding a varied bowling attack hard to score against. Further wickets fell to William Bishop, Peter Taylour and Kit Lister and finally, with two wickets in two balls, to the captain Jonty Hylands.
In reply to 228, the Colwall openers Lister and Rhys Davey made a brisk start with Davey hitting 3 boundaries. Charles Giess and Robert Chapman then consolidated the score before Coffey and Taylour took the game away from Malvern. Coffey hitting four consecutive boundaries in an innings of 37 (7 fours and 1 six). Despite losing a couple of late wickets, Hylands and Bishop saw Colwall safely home to victory.
WORCESTER Nomads U11's lost to Droitwich in a Bishop Trophy game, in which Nomads included two U9 players Tom Mills wicket keeper, and Ben Warren.
Both of them helped to improve the batting by not getting out and scoring two and three respectively. Alex Claytor top scored with 14 for once out. Nomads closed on 210-5.
Droitwich had two high scoring batsmen in Stephens and Saunders who each scored 15 to make the game safe. Dawson, Watkins, Claytor, and Barbour all managed to take wickets, but Droitwich weren't to be denied.
In their next match against a strong Victoria side, they again lost, this time by 47 runs.
Once again Nomads batting let them down losing nine wickets. Jonathon Preston playing his first match this season top scored with 13 but unfortunately lost his wicket twice, and Patrick McLeish made 10no, in Nomads total of 203-9.
Victoria made 250-4. Mills with 11, Pilli with 14 and Ganderton with 15 all looked useful. Neal Dexter was the most successful bowler taking 2 for 7.
