AS a trustee of the charity ARCOS (Association for Rehabilitation of Communication and Oral Skills), I often park in the adjacent car park.
On this particular day as I was calling in to ARCOS I momentarily forgot to place my disabled parking disc on the dashboard of my car and I received a parking fine from an 'over-zealous' traffic warden.
I confess that my memory is unreliable, the result of a serious head injury 16 years ago, but after an appeal my fine was not waived. I think this was unfair, particularly as I often park there and have the appropriate parking discs for which I have paid.
In another case, a wheelchair assessor from Abbey Mobility in Southampton, driving a marked van, parked in the car park to unload a wheelchair and was also done. This is a series of uncharitable acts.
MARK CROWTHER, trustee, ARCOS, Church Street, Malvern.
