THE voices of the BBC Singers will open Cheltenham's International Festival of Music and Fringe tonight (Friday), at 7.30pm, in Gloucester Cathedral (tickets £4-£22).
Tomorrow begins with oboist Nicholas Daniel and pianist Julius Drake at 11am in Pittville Pump Room, followed by the Endymion Ensemble at 3pm in the Prince Michael Hall at Dean Close School.
Free entertainment in Pitville Park tomorrow night will offer party-goers the chance to enjoy a picnic and watch the fireworks (music starts 6.15pm, fireworks 10pm), while the BBC Symphony Orchestra perform in the Town Hall at 7.30pm (£8-£30).
On Sunday, Mark Padmore sings Schumann's bittersweet masterpiece, Dicterliebe, in the Pitville Pump Room at 11.30am. The Royal Northern College of Music's new ensemble voices will perform Andriessen's De Materie in the Town Hall at 3pm.
I Fagiolini follows at 7.30pm in the Pitville Pump Room, followed by Chamber Domaine at 10.15pm in Cheltenham College Chapel.
