COUNCILLOR Mary Drinkwater's fine letter (You Say, June 27) made valid points regarding Beech Avenue being suggested as suitable for a dental surgery by D E Margrett in his recent letter.
Beech Avenue is a high-class housing estate. The inhabitants pay a high cost to live there. I would not like it to become a second Shrubbery Avenue, where rows and rows of cars are blocking both sides of the road. I would like to see the numerous empty properties being used for surgeries.
