WORCESTER Brownies got on their bikes to raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice.
The 13th Worcester pack cycled from Worcester to Birmingham and back, all without leaving their meeting place.
The unit raised around £150 for the charity with the sponsored bike ride and other activities at a fun day on Saturday, July 6.
"It went very well," said Brown Owl Linda Waterman.
"How they did it, I don't know, but they all had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed it.
"I think they were quite tired afterwards. We thought it would be a challenge for them and they all did it - some even had a second go."
The Brownies were set a challenge by the Guiding Association's County Commissioner to raise money for Acorns' new Worcester hospice.
As well as the bike ride, which was started by BBC Hereford & Worcester's Mike George, there were refreshments and games at the Methodist Church Hall on Ombersley Road.
