THE headteacher of a Worcester school got a soaking by pupils as they raised money for school funds.
Soaking Steve Gough, the headteacher at Dines Green Primary School, was just one of the attractions at the summer fete on Saturday.
There were cake stalls, plant stalls, a tombola, a giant raffle and much more at the Tudor Way school.
"It went really well," said Mr Gough.
"We had hundreds of people come along. It was a really nice day.
"People were extremely generous with giving prizes and lots said nice things about the atmosphere."
There was also a car boot sale, a "guess the weight of the cake" competition and entertainment from the school's steel band.
The fete raised around £1,000 for the Friends of Dines Green Primary School.
