WORCESTERSHIRE Cricket Board have failed to claim a place in the quarter-finals of the ECB 38 County Cup.
They were pipped at the post on net run rate by Warwickshire CB, who beat Herefordshire by five wickets in yesterday's final group match at Brockhampton.
Herefordshire were skittled for just 78, their lowest total in the competition, with Gavin Shephard taking 5-30.
Richard Hall (28) was the only Herefordshire batsman to reach the twenties.
Warwickshire had no problems in reply, reaching their target with more than 20 overs to spare.
