MIDDLESEX and Worcestershire played out a tame draw in their County Championship game at Lord's.
After scoring 502 for four declared in their first innings, Worcestershire needed quick wickets.
Middlesex had resumed on 229 for five, 273 behind and 123 short of the follow-on target with five wickets intact. But Paul Weekes scored an unbeaten 127 as Middlesex declared on 417 for eight, when just 85 adrift.
Worcestershire reached 99-5 in their second innings, taking seven points to Middlesex's six.
The County innings got off to the worst possible start, Philip Weston falling in the first over without a run on the board.
Abdur Razzaq then removed Anurag Singh and Ben Smith. Phil Tufnell came on to spin out David Leatherdale and Gareth Batty, but the two captains decided to call it a day on 99-5.
