SAFETY experts in Worcestershire are urging parents to keep an eye on their teenagers following reports of drink-fuelled anti-social behaviour and damage.
Wychavon Community Safety Partnership issued the plea after receiving complaints about damage caused by drunken youngsters.
Alan Paul, the district council's community safety officer, said the problem of tippling teenagers was likely to get worse in the holidays.
"With the holiday period looming, it is a perfect time to raise awareness," said Mr Paul.
"Alcohol is a problem in the hands of young people and there have been a small number of young people involved in anti social behaviour."
Mr Paul is appealing to parents not to let children drink alcohol, and reminded them it could damage their health.
He is also asking over 18s not to buy drink for younger people and urging pubs, clubs and off-licences to be extra vigilant.
