WORCESTER Athletic Club hosted the third of four Midland Veterans Track and Field League Meetings at Nunnery Wood track.
Eight teams from across the Midlands competed in both the men's and ladies league.
The hosts continued to dominate the men's league with their third consecutive victory this season and providing 11 individual winners from the 19 events contested, and also five second placings.
Dudley & Stourbridge narrowly beat Bromsgrove & Redditch into second place but could not match the quality of Worcester's team that is establishing a reputation as one of the best in the Midlands.
On the track impressive victories were produced by Tim Rolph, Stuart Fountain and Lawrence Oldfield over 100 metres, Richard White and Derek Naish in the 400 metres, Stewart Halion and Martin Flowers at 1500 metres and the Medley relay team.
In the field events Jez Church won the triple jump and also took the high jump with a first round clearance of 1m65 and narrowly failing at 1m70.
