THE Queen's Jubilee was celebrated in fine style. Red, white and blue garlands decorated the room and the golden theme was reflected in members' outfits.
Memoirs of the Coronation were on display and the tables laden with 1950s party food.
Members provided the entertainment with their memories and readings.
A most enjoyable party ended with the singing of the national anthem.
On June 20, the AGM was held. Committee reports were presented and thanks were extended to committee members for their efforts.
The committee was returned en bloc and during the tea interval members enjoyed recordings of favourite music and songs.
