A FATHER of twin babies who admitted eight drug offences wept as a judge at Worcester Crown Court remanded him in custody.

Jason Dimmock, aged 31, of Fowler Place, Stourport-on-Severn, admitted supplying cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamine sulphate and cannabis.

He also pleaded guilty to possession of all four drugs on December 14 last year with intent to supply.

Judge Michael Mott said whenever anyone was involved in hard drugs to that extent, the court could have no confidence that the involvement would not continue if bail was granted.

He adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report and a police investigation into any profits Dimmock made from drug pushing.

The supply took place between December 1999 and December last year.

The court heard that the defendant, a man of previous good character, was the father of seven-month-old twins.

He wept as he was sent to custody.
