THE Advantage Alcester committee has been praised by Stratford District Council for its commitment and determination to raise the standard of living in the town.
In a report going to the district's Arden Area Community Committee, officers said the project to secure cash from the government's Market Town Initiative had been so successful it will be used as an example to other towns.
