FORMER Bromsgrove Rovers favourite Recky Carter has joined Barnt Green Spartak on a two-year deal.
Carter, aged 30, joins the Midland Combination division two side as a striker but will also help manager GJ Singh and coach Frank Kreamer run the team.
GJ Singh said: "I have known Recky for some time but getting him down here has been difficult because of clubs offering him money.
"He will be a useful asset and is looking as fit as he has done in the last three or four years."
Carter was player / manager at West Midlands Premier side Smethwick Rangers last season and has also had spells at Kettering Town and Birmingham City.
Spartak are also looking for a new club secretary, following the resignation of Kim Holland, and a kit man.
Anyone interested can contact GJ Singh on 07973 435489.
