I have tried to avoid (like many other residents, I'm sure) getting involved in 'publicising' the new road - Jinnah.
However, so much is being said that I feel compelled to write about the need to recognise Scottish candidates.
I would not normally attempt such a request but since you are committed to giving away your culture so easily, it seems like a good time.
I, being a proud Scot, have received a great deal of stick recently surrounding the World Cup and our non-participation, as well as many other issues.
But I applaud your patriotism and would expect nothing less from you than to stick St George's crosses wherever they could be mounted.
I came here in 1978 and looked forward to enjoying your history and culture - envied the world over.
How disappointed I am to see it so easily abandoned in favour of PC.
You have so much to celebrate in your history and there aren't enough streets to do justice to all your heroes.
This is not xenophobia, merely a reminder to some that to integrate takes both sides.
