STUDLEY CC's impressive season continued with a win in Saturday's top six tussle with Water Orton but skipper Mark Lewis said there was no danger of complacency creeping in.
The weekend win hoisted the Washford Fields side to second in the table in an exciting battle for the Division Two East title.
Only 14 points separate the top five sides and with only one side promoted to Division One, the battle is on.
After restricting the visitors to 119, Studley knocked them off for eight wickets to pocket a crucial 20 points.
By deposing the leaders, Studley overtook them by one point to go third, Walmley took advantage to go top with a win over Blossomfield and Kings Heath went second with 13 points from a winning draw against second from bottom Four Oaks Saints.
But the picture is clouded by late results from Kings Heath and Walmley who may incur a point deduction if they have infringed results procedure.
A six point deduction like that imposed on Division Two West see Shifnal would side Studley ahead of Kings Heath in second by a point.
With the league so wide open, Studley's trip to new leaders Walmley (1pm start) assumes even more importance and Lewis is hoping to field an unchanged side.
