GOLFERS throughout Worcester got into the swing of things for a charity match to raise cash for Acorns.
More than 70 members of Worcester Golf and Country Club took part in last month's charity captains day at Boughton Park in St John's, and raised £1,200.
"There were about 76 members and guests in total and we had a great time," said club member Alec Mackie.
"Each captain chooses a charity for the year and this year's captain, Roy Stevens, chose Acorns.
Fund-raising events for the charity are set to continue until next April, when his captaincy ends.
