People are considering giving up their jobs in the town centre because of a 'ridiculous' bus service, a Redditch councillor has claimed.
A popular route was axed by the town's main bus operator First Midland Red last year - leading to scores of complaints from users.
Bus firm Pete's Travel stepped in to offer a reduced circular service, the 61a, which runs every 40 minutes around estates, including Moons Moat and Winyates, into the town centre.
Pete's Travel operations manager for Redditch, Denise Rolls, said: "At the moment, we do not run the route on a commercial basis. We do it as a tendered service and we cannot change the times around."
