A NAILBITING thriller which was a huge success two decades ago when it was first produced in the West End comes to Malvern Theatres this month.
Who Killed 'Agatha' Christie? runs at Festival Theatre from Monday, July 22, until Saturday, July 27.
John Terry, played by George Sewell, is a reasonably successful actor and writer of popular plays who is obsessed with the notion that his career has been damaged by Arthur, played by Lionel Blair, an elitist, homosexual drama critic.
George Sewell began acting at 35 and his stage credits include Bill Sykes in Oliver! Oh What A Lovely War, Dial M For Murder and The 39 Steps.
Television appearances including Special Branch, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Canned Carrott, The Detectives and The Wrinklies.
Lionel Blair's West End credits include Lady Be Good, in the Fred Astaire role, Jim in Mr Cinders and the Player King in Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
Lionel is well-known as team captain in Give Us A Clue.
Performances are at 8pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £10-£18 from the box office on 01684 892277.
