ALL American smiles were on the faces of supermarket staff in Bromsgrove when they decorated the store in stars and stripes to celebrate Independence Day.
ASDA, in Market Street, offered shoppers samples of American goodies including muffins, southern fried chicken and wine, last Thursday.
Staff each paid £1 to dress up as cowboys and Indians and more than £100 was collected for Acorns Children's Hospice, in Worcester.
Stateside giant Walmart owns the store and bosses were keen to join in the celebrations that are enjoyed every year by colleagues across the pond.
Millions in the USA celebrate Independence Day, which is a public holiday to commemorate the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
