AN angry Marlbrook resident has reached the end of her tether after a furniture store refused to give her a refund for a damaged wall cabinet.
Sharon Wren, of Birmingham Road, says she has been brought to tears after talking to staff from Cousins Furniture in Dudley where she bought the £1,250 three piece cabinet in February.
Sharon says the Dudley store refused to give her a refund for the £400 wall cabinet she received in May, despite waiting 10 weeks for the delivery.
"When the deliveryman turned up with the furniture only two of the units arrived. When he returned, the other unit was delivered in the back of his car, completely unwrapped.
"The glass was chipped and the door was rickety with a swivel top.
"The wall unit, where I was going to store my Cherish teddy bears, did not even connect properly, as some of the screws were missing."
Sharon approached the Dudley firm where she purchased the furniture at the end of February but they said she would not be able to obtain a refund or replacement cabinet.
Cousins Furniture store's head office, which is based in Tyseley, refused to comment.
