MORE than 2,000 homes in the north of Bromsgrove were without electricity early yesterday (Tuesday) morning.
A fault in an underground cable at 6.14am affected 2,264 premises in High Street and the Norton areas. A spokeswoman for Midland electricity company Aquila Networks, said the majority of customers had their power restored by 7.05am but the remaining 235 had to wait until shortly before 9.30am.
