A CHILDMINDER and an out-of-school club from Bromsgrove have won awards for breaking through the boundaries of childcare provision. Judith McCrossan, of Kidderminster Road, who cares for six children at her home and is chairman of a Bromsgrove childminders' group won a prize along with Catshill Care Club. They both won Quality Accreditation prizes by demonstrating to a private assessor that their practice could exceed standards set by education watchdog, Ofsted. Judith was one of two childminders in the county that won the coveted status.
