FIRES will be blazing and sirens will be screaming when Droitwich Spa fire station holds its annual open day.
Trips around the town in a fire engine and demonstrations of real-life house fires and road traffic accidents will be just some of the attractions at the Saltway station.
The event runs from noon to 4pm on Saturday and funds raised will be distributed to three different charities or groups.
A station spokesman said: "It will be the perfect opportunity for townspeople to help raise money for local groups and be entertained and also educated about fire safety at the same time."
