GREAT Alne stayed on course for Division Five of the Cotswold Hills League as they extended their perfect season to nine matches.
Relegation-threatened Elmley Castle II were the latest victims of Craig Millard's rampant side.
And in a bumper weekend for the Henley Road side, second placed Bearley Bears lost to Catherine de Barnes II and third placed Mickleton lost to Tanworth in Arden II.
The results leave the leaders 78 points ahead of Bearley and 60 points clear of Mickleton with two teams promoted.
But because the league is decided on average points, Great Alne's lead is 5.33 and 8.03 respectively and the captain is having trouble working out how far away his side is from promotion.
Former Studley player Cameron Harris had an impressive debut, top scoring with 47 no before taking four for six in the reply as Tom Jones also finished with four wickets.
Millard's men visit Catherine de Barnes on Saturday (2pm start) knowing a win would all but eliminate another of the promotion hopefuls.
Millard is unavailable through work commitments but is set to be replaced by Matt Walters.
