A STOW-AWAY cat, who survived an amazing bid for freedom when he travelled from Israel to England by boat in a container, has gone missing again - this time from his home in Droitwich Spa.
The 18-month-old cat hit the national headlines last year when he got into a container in Haifa, a port in Israel, and spent three weeks on a ship travelling to England.
Now , the cat's owner, Natasha Smith, has turned to The Advertiser in the hope that someone will know what has happened to Felix. After surviving the heat and living on drops of water from condensation, Felix was discovered in Felixstowe and was put into quarantine for six months close to Birmingham Airport.
Natasha, who owns Ultima One in the High Street, re-homed him after seeing his amazing trip on the television. Since then, the feral cat has been living with three other cats at Natasha's home in Ombersley Road.
"When I saw him on the television, I really wanted to give him a good home and was fortunate enough to be chosen to have him," she said.
"He's such a lovely cat and although it has been difficult because he is feral and doesn't like been shut in, it's all be worth it."
Felix disappeared after he was let out following his breakfast on Thursday, July 27, and Natasha has not seen him since.
"Since he disappeared, I have looked everywhere for him and I can't find him, it's terrible.
"The worst thing about all of this is not knowing where he is and if he is ok.
"I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him to ring me, it really is horrible without him."
If you think you have seen Felix, who has long ears, a pointed face and a very short, thick coat, call Natasha Smith on 01905 796989.
