COOKHILL stayed within sight of the leaders after a winning draw over Vine.
The Nevill Arms side posted a respectable 223-6 with Billy Harris (44) and Martin Welham (36no) leading the assault and after tight bowling from Simon Edmunds and Dave Whitehead restricted Vine to 47 for two off 17 overs, the hosts shut up shop.
Cookhill banked 14 points and with Vine claiming six, both sides finished level in the table on 111.
And with leaders Cleobury suffering a three wicket defeat to third placed Alvechurch & Hopwood III, Cookhill saw their gap on the leaders come in from 40 points to 29.
Williams is confident ahead of the visit of second from bottom Hallow on Saturday (2pm start) and with only three points separating the top four sides, he will be hoping to gain ground on the chasing pack.
