THE glittering road to success is only a stone's throw away for one talented singer-song writer from Bromsgrove.
Twenty-year-old Will Hunt, of Perryfields Road, will set off on a two-week tour, which commences in Camden, London, next month.
But if that's too far to travel, the dedicated performer, who describes his music as melodic rock, will play at The Boar's Head, in Kidderminster, on Sunday, August 4.
The former North Bromsgrove High School student, who recently supported the Wonderstuff at a sell out gig of 1,500 people in Dudley with his band Soapbox Story, has taken time out to write, produce and promote his debut solo album.
The album will be out towards the end of this year but Will is keeping the name firmly under wraps.
He said: "I'm really enjoying writing the album as well as getting involved with a youth music theatre production in Redditch.
Emotion
"It lets me use instruments and samples which would never have been possible in Soapbox Story."
"Being a three-piece band, the only advantage of using bass and drums was to make the songs louder at larger venues.
"But with my solo album I'm able to reflect more dynamics and emotion through my arrangements."
