ENTENTE cordiale came to St Bede's Middle School when pupils held a French morning.
School assembly included songs, prayers and plays in French while the hall became a French caf and pupils learnt to ask for a croissant and a drink in French.
Some Year 7 and 8 pupils were waiters and waitresses to take the orders.
Pupils also gave orders in Italian because some had studied with an Italian language assistant working at the school.
