COUGHTON Court is to provide the backdrop for a stately performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night on Saturday, July 20.
The ideal setting for the British Touring Shakespeare Company's presentation, Coughton's Tudor courtyard will become a stage for the Bard's most popular comedy.
The audience will be invited to sit on the lawn and enjoy an outdoor version of the play which is a real romp of mistaken identities and misdirected passions along with some high comedy and low tricks.
Gates will open two hours before the 7.30pm performance to allow visitors time to get comfortable and enjoy a picnic on the lawn.
Tickets for Shakespeare in the Garden are £10 in advance on 01789 400777 and £12 on the door.
