I WAS shocked and saddened to read in the July 4 issue of the Shuttle/Times and News the story of the blind man who was found guilty of distributing child porn.
Because of his disability he was deemed vulnerable.
But he had a choice. The children who were the victims did not. Are they not vulnerable, should we not fight for their justice and punish all perverts?
Should we keep all disabled perverts out of jail? Where does it end?
Would it not be a better idea to keep all child sex offenders on register for life, not just for five years? Who are we trying to protect?
