DUNCAN Catterall and Nathan Round both hit half-centuries as Worcestershire's Second XI Championship clash with Glamorgan at New Road got under way a day late.
Catterall hit a six and 12 fours in his 68, while Round's 59 included nine boundaries. The pair shared a stand of 106 for the second wicket.
Kadeer Ali chipped in with 48 as the County were bowled out for 259 in their first innings, Owen Parkin taking 4-48.
Paceman Matt Mason then grabbed an early wicket to leave Glamorgan on 36-1 at the close.
