A GLOBE-trotting biologist and Kidderminster College lecturer has received an award for his adventures across the world.
Phil Seaton, who has spent more than 25 years studying orchids and their conservation, was awarded a silver medallion by the Winston Churchill Fellowship in a ceremony at the London Guildhall.
Biology lecturer Mr Seaton, an authority on orchid seed storage and chairman of the Orchid Conservation Group for the World Conservation Union, was recognised for work done in Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
