THREE workers who have between them clocked up 141 years on one farm were honoured at the Royal Show last Thursday.
The three were presented with Long Service Awards on the balcony of the Pavilion in the heart of the showground.
All three are employed by Richard Beach of A H Hiller and Son Ltd, at Dunnington Heath Farm, Salford Priors.
June Ellin, assistant manager, collected a medal for 50 years' service, Trevor Haines, farm manager, a medal for 49 years, and Danny Bryan, farm manager, a medal for 42 years.
Gamekeeper at John Heyworth's Bradwell Grove, Burford, John Sumner was presented with a medal for 42 years, and Tony Kilby, a general farm worker at Ian Boyd's Whittington Lodge Farm, Whittington, in the Cotswolds, a medal for 41 years.
The RASE's Angela Lea said: "The Long Service Awards recognise the contribution made by so many farm workers to the agricultural industry.
The award winners collected a bronze medal and certificate and had tea in the Royal Pavilion afterwards."
