I HAVE to agree with Coun Paul Denham's reported comments in this paper on the shortage of NHS dentists, brought about by his Government's under-funding.

This is a situation that has resulted in many fine dental practices facing a major decision in restructuring the practice in order to survive.

Of course, if Coun Denham and Alan McMichael, dental consultant for South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust, were suggesting that a new dental practice in Beech Avenue could have a planning condition if it always remained an NHS practice, this could perhaps be seen in a completely different light.
