CHILDREN of all sporting abilities enjoyed an all-inclusive sports day at a Worcestershire school.
Martley Primary School held the day yesterday for the first time.
It is a Sport England initiative aimed at including all children and competing as a team.
"We had a fantastic day," said headteacher Jo McGrath.
"We're going to evaluate it and ask the children what they thought about it, but we will most probably do it again next year.
"We found it more enjoyable than a traditional sports day."
Some of the activities enjoyed by all the children involved a zig zag relay, bean bag pick up game and problem-solving activity.
Each competitor was awarded points towards their team.
The sports day was won overall by the Tigers team.
"Nobody cared who came first or last, they just enjoyed it," said nine-year-old Alexander Neale.
