LIVERPUDLIAN songstress Connie Lush and Blues Shouter kick off another week of music at the Marr's Bar, Worcester tonight (Friday).
Their blues will set punters back £6.50 on the door.
Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the return to the Pierpoint Street venue of Tony McPhee and The Groundhogs, a band listed by Eric Clapton as one of his early influences. £8 on the door.
On Sunday Robert Fisher, described as a cross between Chris Rea and Nick Cave, appears. His music is poetic personal narratives on guitar and mandolin. £4 on the door.
On Monday, Alison Fraser, a Worcester Evening News reporter, holds a concert to help raise money for the Acorns Children's Hospice, for whom she is undertaking a charity trek in Peru. It features Seymour and Anti Hero. A £3 minimum donation.
A mix of old and new skool punk rock comes from Drongos for Europe, Swaktang and The Penitraiters on Thursday, July 18. Entry is £2.
