FLYING Worcester winger Chris Garrard has warned the rest of National One -- "You ain't seen nothing yet."
The Australian star who rattled up 25 tries for Worcester last season is determined to eclipse that tally as he prepares for his second league campaign.
Garrard faces more competition for his place this season with new additions Nnandi Ezulike and Craig Hudson, brought to Sixways by director of rugby John Brain. However, he is ready to take the league by storm again as Worcester focus on another Premiership push.
"I think it's a case of more of the same for me and hopefully better," he said. "Every player wants to improve and I'm no different. Last season was a real learning curve for me and I think I will be better for it next time around. I certainty feel there is more to come."
Fourteen new faces arrived at Worcester in the summer after Brain's shopping spree. But rather than disrupting team spirit, Garrard believes the new faces have improved the atmosphere at Sixways.
"It's 10 times better than this time last year," he added. "I think last season it was a bit too segmented but since we all got back to pre-season training, everyone has pulled together.
"There are a number of players from London Irish who you would expect to get on but everyone - players from South Africa, New Zealand and Wales - are getting on extremely well.
"A lot of credit for that should go to the coaching staff because they have integrated players very well. We all went on a cruise and had a meal last Friday with the wives and things like that really help."
