TALENTED young performers from a Bromsgrove primary school followed the pied piper to the sweet tune of success when they put on their performance of Rats last week.
Pupils between the ages of seven and 11, from Lickey Hills Primary School, in Old Birmingham Road, stepped to the beat to entertain parents, teachers, pupils and members of local senior citizen group, The Tuesday Club, with their rendition of Rats.
The children performed the musical, which was based on the pied piper story, last Tuesday and Wednesday and was hailed a great success by head teacher Stephen Wallin.
"We are very pleased with their performances," said the head teacher.
"We had a great deal of help from the parents who were involved in the making of the costumes and make-up and the children worked really well together."
