YOUNGSTERS from throughout Worcester performed their own music for families and friends as part of a city-wide project.
The concert - at the Swan Theatre in Worcester - was organised by Worcester Action for Youth (WAY).
It involved youngsters from youth groups in Warndon, Ronkswood, Tolladine, Brickfields, Perdiswell and Dines Green.
"Last autumn, we received funding from the National Foundation for Youth Music for a one-year music project to help young people in Worcester develop and perform their own music," said Andrea Biddulph, of WAY.
"Since then, Patrick McArdle, of Drum Love, has been working with a number of local youth groups.
"The project will not be completed until September, but the young people have been working hard and were keen to put together a performance for their families and friends."
The concert, held on Saturday evening, also included performances from professional musicians.
