ALVECHURCH manager Andy Hibbert has had a busy close season after promising to ring the changes in the wake of last season's dramatic last day survival.
Chastened by his first training session at the club, when only two players reported for duty, the former Boldmere striker has been back to his roots for four new signings.
Goalkeeper Andy Harper, midfielder Ray Gardiner and defender Lee Colvin have been recruited from St Michaels along with former Mangotsfield midfielder Nick Rudge.
Hibbert has beaten Studley to striker Jimmy McDonald and Stourports Swifts sweeper Ross Knight has made his move from Walshes Meadow permanent after a lengthy loan spell last season.
And with the Alvechurch boss hoping to secure three more arrivals before the warm up games start at Screwfix Direct Premier League team Minehead Town at the weekend, he could field nine new faces on Saturday (ko 3pm).
Hibbert scored as a reluctant starter in the same fixture last season but will not have to worry about picking himself this year.
